Logan County has one licensed solid waste facility. Cherokee Run Landfill, located on State Route 68 in Bellefontaine, accepts municipal solid waste, including household, commercial, and industrial waste. To contact the landfill please call (937) 593-3566.
The Logan County Health District assists the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency with inspections of the facility to make sure that they are in compliance with Ohio’s Solid Waste and Infectious Waste regulations.

It is illegal to dump anything other than clean, hard fill in Ohio. Only concrete, asphalt, brick and similar materials constitute clean hard fill.
