Resident Camps

The Logan County Health District issues annual permits for the seven resident camps in the county; Camp Cotubic, Camp Myeerah, Camp Wesley, Marmon Valley Farm, Kirkmount Center, Otter Run Boy Scout Camp, and the YMCA Wilson Outdoor Center. Each resident camp is inspected twice a year to ensure compliance with accepted safety and sanitary standards, to reduce potential accident sources and aid in the prevention of communicable diseases. The areas of focus include food safety, drinking water, waste water, solid waste disposal, structural design and integrity, camper sleeping spacing, playgrounds, beaches and swimming areas.
